Brief Description: 1: Attached Right Wing Control Surfaces
Not a big day today, but got a few things done all the same. I decided to attach the aileron and flap to the right wing, thinking this was required prior to bolting the wing to the fuselage. I figured this because the instructions make no mention of removing them after earlier saying to attach them (make sense?). I worked out later that they're not supposed to be attached.
Big groan!
I feel like offering my services to Vans Aircraft as a document writer. There is so much in their technical instructions that is vague, unclear, or simply not mentioned, which is something that several other RV builders have also told me to be wary of. It doesn't need to be this frustrating. Anyway, just like everyone else who has built before me, I'll get over it.
For now I'm leaving the aileron and flap attached to the wing. It looks cool.
