Brief Description: 2: Right Wing Aileron Bellcrank
Next up I decided to start assembling the right wing aileron bellcrank and autopilot roll servo. The plans only show the left wing assembly, so you have to mirror everything in your head when working out where all the parts go. Not difficult, just need to be careful.
To mount the servo motor the bottom bellcrank bracket needs to be swapped out for a longer one. I also took the top bracket out as well as I note the main "hinge" bolt is too long to get in otherwise.
The bellcrank rotates around a brass bush, however when I first test fit the assembly the movement was very tight. I ended up taking the bush out and polished it up a bit on the scotchbrite wheel. This helped a lot. I'll find myself some spray lube/graphite at the hardware store tomorrow before assembling for the final time.
