Brief Description: Dimple bottom skins and install nutplates
Using an edge bending tool purchased from Cleaveland, I slightly beveled appropriate edges on the bottom skins. The inboard skin was beveled on the leading edge where the skin butts against the tank. The outboard skin was beveled in the same manner but also chord-wise where the skin overlaps the inboard sheet metal. The skins were then dimpled and finally, the nutplates were installed for securing the inspection access plates. The bottom skins were then set aside for future intallation.
