Brief Description: Installed aileron brackets and gap seal
The aileron brackets were installed using a combination of squeezing and standard riveting with a gun and bucking bar. The gap seal was then clecoed in place and match drilled. This was followed by dressing the edges of the gap seal, deburring, dimpling as appropriate and riveting to the rear spar and aft edge of the wing top skin.
The flap brace was clecoed in place and match drilled. The brace will be prepared and installed during the next shop session. However, there are 4-5 rivets attaching the top skin to the rear spar at the wing root that need to be set before the brace can be installed. I have to determine whether these rivets can be bucked or if blind rivets are a better option.
