Before removing the port wing from the jig I decided to check for twist one final time. I dropped plumb lines at the root and tip and measured between the vertical line and the rivet line on the rear spar. Both measurements were within 1/16". Good to go!
My number one son, Sean, and his family were over this evening for Christmas Eve dinner. Before leaving for home, Sean helped me move the port wing from the jig to the new fixtures mounted on my work bench. I plan to get back in the shop immediately after Christmas and finish the port wing up to installing the bottom skins (aileron brackets, gap seal, flap brace, etc.).
