This session of tank assembly wasn't quite as bad as expected. The stiffeners, fuel filler flange, and tank drain went fairly well and the finished work didn't look too bad.
You will note, I didn't use as much sealant as seen in some construction logs. Nevertheless, I think the potential leak points on these components are sealed. My philosophy is to use as much sealant as necessary but not much more. While I know much of this work will not be seen again once the tank is completed, I think the finished work product looks better when sealant is minimized. Hope I don't regret this philosophy.
