Well, this flap went by the numbers having learned the best methods on the right flap. I began by riveting the top skin to the ribs working from the trailing edge forward. Next step was to wipe the inside of the flap surfaces clean with acetone to remove any dirt, grease, fingerprints, etc. I then clecoed the spar in place, squeezed the rivets along the bottom attaching the hinge, and finished up riveting the top skin to the spar. Last step was to install the pop rivets (spar to ribs) and the squeezed rivets holding the actuator bracket to the angle bracket which is attached to the forward surface of the spar (inboard). Results were good.
Final step was to wipe the flap down and store it on one of the hanging shelves in the garage. Before quitting for the evening, I cleaned up the shop in preparation for aileron initial assembly. Hopefully, I can get started on the ailerons in the next day or two.
