Brief Description: Fabricated wing walk doubler & began skinning
The wing walk doubler was fabricated from the AS3-025x10x48. The first step was to cut the doubler based on the dimensions shown on drawing 17A (9 3/8" x 26"). The edges were deburred and smoothed with a scrotchbrite wheel. The doubler was then placed under the W-702, positioned per the plans and match drilled.
Clecoed the forward row of holes in W-702 and W-703 skins to the matching holes in the main spar. Clecoed the W-702 and W-703 skins in place ensuring the wing walk doubler was in place and the outboard skin overlaps the inboard. I used a small punch to gently align the holes in the ribs with the skins. Should be able to get all the skins installed, clecoed and match drilled during my next shop session.
