Brief Description: Side project interfering with RV-8 progress

A side project I got involved in back in late 2014 has cut into my RV-8 build just a little. While I haven't shared anything about this project it has taken a little attention, time, and money away from the airplane. But whatever, a guy has to have more interests than just aviation, right?
This is not a standard off the shelf Mustang. I began with a used 305 HP V6 Mustang Coupe from a rental agency with about 13,000 miles. I then proceeded to make some custome changes to suit my tastes. Among the changes were a Ford Racing exhaust system, a cold air induction system, leather interior, custom embroidered floor and trunk mats, Ford Racing suspension, tinted windows, Cobra style racing stripes, Ford Racing bullitt style wheels with low profile and wide track rubber from Michelin, and a few other goodies. I enjoy car projects because the upgrades can usually be accomplished in a few hours to a few days unlike building an airplane. Instant gratification so to speak!
The red and white has grown on me to the extent I may change my planned RV-8 paint scheme. We will see.
