Today I applied a layer of glass cloth over the foam plugs that were epoxied inside the wing tip trailing edges yesterday. Once the cloth cures and is sanded, I will apply some Poly-Fill to seal up the wing tip at the extreme trailing edge. Once the filler is sanded I will rivet the metal tip rib in place and mount the tips back on the wing.
I also scotchbrited the aileron push/pull tubes and primed them to protect against oxidation.
Finally, I readjusted the Rocket steering link to be sure the rubber O-ring on the rudder horn attach bolt was not binding. I also repositioned the link to reduce the angle of the rod end bearing so the O-ring wouldn't get pinched as the rudder moves from stop to stop.
