Brief Description:  Installed comm & xpndr antennas

The antennas for the transponder and VHF radio was installed today. The comm is the bent whip type while the transponder is of the blade type. The coax cables for these two antennas were terminated with female BNC connectors.

The wiring for the OAT sensor and gauge was routed to the cannon plug and bundled with other wires that feed the EGT and CHT gauge (OAT is another channel on same instrument).

I began bundling the wires at the wing roots and worked upwards. I got the harnesses organized up to the top of the gear towers. Cleaning up all the wiring across the fuselage behind the panel is going to be a challenge. Still have to terminate the intercom wires and the autopilot harness. These too will be a challenge.

Checked the wiring under the pilots position to be sure everything clears the aileron push/pull tubes. I think there will be enough clearance. If not, I may have to improvise some additional wire anchors to keep bundles from touching the tubes.
