Brief Description:  Added a "Starter Enabled" LED on panel

This task was tedious and the outcome is still not certain. Anyway, I decided some time ago to install a switch on the pilot's stick to engage the starter. This is so the pilot can keep on hand on the throttle and one on the stick during the start procedure (saw this on Danny King's bird and thought it was an excellent idea). So, I put together a panel switch and relay circuit to "enable/disable" the stick switch.

I have been known to forget to switch off things like the fuel pump and maybe a landing light in the Piper Archer. Given the possibility that a stick mounted starter switch could be hit by accident, I decided a RED panel idiot light would be good to indicate the stick switch is enabled. The wiring was added a while back so today it was time to add the light and labeling to the panel. After some careful measuring the hole was drilled and another matching LED was installed. Thankfully, I had some labels that would work and matched my earlier efforts. The problem was, I had already clearcoated the panel to seal the other labels. When I rubbed on the new label, "Start Enable", the letters stuck to the clearcoat and lifted it from the surface. That was a surprise! I then got a small piece of the sticky letter backing (no text) and rubbed entire area where the new label was to be added. As expect, when it was peeled off the clearcoat came with it. I then rubbed the new label directly onto the color coat and it stuck. Only thing left now is to tape off all but the new label a hit it with some fresh clearcoat. Hope it works out ok. I am concerned, however, as to why the clearcoat lifted and how durable it will be over time.
