Brief Description: Completed trim system harnesses
It was another three hours of wiring at the dining room table this evening followed by another two hours in the shop replacing a couple 18 gauge wires with 14 AWG. While reviewing and testing the landing and taxi light circuits I discovered two of the wires were lighter than what Van's schematic calls out. I wasn't sure whether the 18 gauge circuit would carry enough power for the llights so to be safe I replaced it.
I was able to pick up some additional Molex connectors from a local suppllier earlier in the day so I was able to complete all the wiring harnesses for the trim system. I was a little surprised at how much wire was required to complete all the circuits between the servos, LED indicators, trim relay/governors, main terminal strip, and the stick mounted coolie hat switch. Anyway, I am now ready to install it in the airframe.
