Brief Description:  Wiring organization, verification, and testing

I have spent considerable time verifying, organizing, labeling, and testing the wiring in the fuselage. The masking tape wire labels have been replaced with ones produced with a Brothers Label Maker. As each wire was marked, I kept a log showing the abbreviated label and its meaning. The log will be retyped on MS Word a bit later and included in my buiilders notes to facilitate future maintenance.

After solving an initial power distribution problem involving my master relay, the testing of the various circuits went fairly well. My master relay problem was caused by installing the relay right side up on the aft edge of the rear mounted battery tray. I thought this position was correct based in the plans but as it turns out the relay must be inverted in order to get the various wires/cables on the correct posts. Apparently, the relay can be mounted in any attitude.

The circuits that have checked ok so far include Radios, Boost Pump, Strobes, Nav Lights, Landing Lights, Taxi Lights, Gyros, Main Battery Buss, Instrument Buss, Oil Pressure/Hobbs Meter and LED, Landing Light LED, Boost LED, Boost Relay/Pump, Rear Map Lights, and Front Map Lights.
