Brief Description: Wright B Flyer Orientation Flight - Page 1
I was recently honored to be added to the Board of Trustees of Wright B Flyer Inc. based at Dayton Wright Brothers Airport. As a new member of the board I thought it only appropriate to purchase an Honorary Aviator Membership to the organization. Included with the membership is the opportunity to take an orientation ride in the Wright B, an experimental replica of an early Wright design. I scheduled the flight for this morning which was absolutely perfect for flying an aircraft like the Wright B. It was relatively cool with very little wind. Rich Stepler, my pilot and instructor, was kind enough to give me a longer flight than normal and an excellent preflight briefing on the flight characteristics of the aircraft. It was a great experience and I want to thank all the folks at WBF Inc. that made the flight possible. For all my friends and especially my aviator buddies, I highly recommend the experience.
