Brief Description: Installed floor mat & masked fuselage
Using the 3M 80 adhesive, I installed the vinyl floor covering over the primed surface. I will provide a picture later but it looks good and the bond appears fine.
Next step was to remove the canopy rails and windscreen support. The center section of the fuselage was then masked in preparation for touching up any primer and applying the interior color coat. I have just a little masking left to do and it will be ready to paint.
Of course, once the center section is done I still have to get the front section masked off and painted. It will require getting at least some of the hardware installed in the gear towers (another task I am not looking forward to).
