Brief Description: Seat belts received from Hooker Harness
The seat belts I ordered from Hooker Harness at AirVenture arrived today. I really wrestled with the color choice for these restraints. As I mentioned earlier, my interior colors are more or less vintage 1940s. I want the cockpit to have a WWII fighter appearance and feel. To that end I am using an olive drab interior paint but rather than black instrument panel and olive drab canvas upholstery I have decided on a combination of khaki and olive drabs. The panel will be a khaki color with seats and restraints in khaki with some olive drab trim.
I know my color choices for the restraints are a little unusual but I think they will look nice with some matching synthetic leather on the seats and side panels. Not sure at this point whether the seats and side panels will have any olive trim or remain solid khaki (another decision to wrestle with).
