Brief Description: Begin riveting the aft fuselage upper skin
I was really dreading the riveting of the aft fuselage upper skin. Since I am the bucker, it is necessary to crawl head first back into the fuselage tail cone and buck each rivet in the upper longerons, the bulkheads, and the shoulder harness attach points.
Well, it has to be done so today Connie and I began the process. It's hot in the workshop today since Ohio temps are in the 90s so a couple well placed fans are required. One fan was placed to pump some air back into the tail cone.
Anyway, today we got one side completed back to the bulkhead where the static ports are located. Getting those final rivets in the extreme aft end are going to be a challenge. Not sure if I will be able to reach these rivetst, hold the bucking bar true, and be able to see the work. Guess we will know tomorrow!
