I am out of room in my garage workshop. The solution to the space problem was to convert the shipping crate into a storage crate/chest by reinforcing the plywood top with some 1x3" pine around the circumference and adding four hinges along the back edge and two padlocks on the front.
After removing some of the smaller items for immediate work, the large pieces like the canopy frame, skirts, motor mount, pants, cowls, and canopy were placed back in the crate and locked. The crate was then relocated to the back of my hangar where the Archer is kept. When I need something I can just open the crate, remove the component, and lock it back up. The parts should be secure except for possible acts of God.
