Brief Description:  Assembly of parking brake & transducer mount

I had all the fittings to install the parking brake assembly so the AN fittings and lines were installed and torqued. Sealant was used on all the NPT threads but the tubing nuts were tightened dry. The brake valve was then bolted in place on the bulkhead.

I plan to attach the fuel flow transducer directly to the output side of the Airborne fuel pump with a swivel -6 AN female to -6 female adapter. This will give me the most compact installation leaving plenty of room for running the 3/8" output line from the transducer to the firewall. The pump has a very solid mount, nevertheless, I don't want the transducer and the output fuel line to be completely unsupported. So, I fabricated an L-shaped bracket to mount the transducer to the floor of the cockpit.

When the transducer and line is in place I will match drill the bracket to the floor for blind rivets. The transducer will also be match drilled to the bracket upright. The whole assembly from pump to the firewall should be quite rigid and resistant to vibration.
