Brief Description: Reworked hinge on forward baggage door
I was not happy with the hinge installation as specified in the plans. In my opinion there was too much of a gap at both ends of the hinge. So, I reworked the hinge to eliminate the gaps (the pin is still removable). You will see in the photos below there is essentially no gap in the forward corner and just enough for the pin in the aft corner. With a piece of foam weather stripping inserted inside under the hinge it should be fairly watertight. I think it looks better too.
