When building the flaps I made a minor mistake on one of the hinges. I inadvertently fabricated the hinge half that attaches to the wing in two sections. I could have installed the hinge as is but decided some time ago to correct the error. Today, I pulled the flap from storage, drilled out the rivets attacing the hinge along the lower leading edge of the flap, matched drilled, and riveted the new hinge in place.
This error was of no real consequence but as the builder I want the completed airframe as perfect as possible.
