Brief Description: Completed the mounting of vertical & horiz stabs
The task today was to remove the vertical stab and complete the work on the forward spar mounting bracket. The bracket parts were removed, deburred, primed, and riveted. The vertical stab was then reinstalled.
There were a couple rivets on the rudder brackets that were squeezed before reinstalling the vertical stab and four rivets on the horiz stabilizer. I believe these were rivets omitted earlier before acquiring a longeron yoke for my pneumatic squeezer. In any event, the rivets were set and both the vertical and horizontal stabs temporarily bolted in place.
