Brief Description: Began fitting cockpit interior panels
I should have finished riveting the seat backs today but I decided to work on the cockpit interior panels. All the floor panels including the foot wells were clecoed in place and match drilled per the shop manual. I also did the initial drilling of the flap actuator bar mounting blocks and did an initial test fit. I still need to trim the corners of the blocks per the plans before they can be match drilled to the interior structure. By the way, they just barely fit between the longeron and the rear floor panel. They actually touch the bottom surface of the longeron and could stand to be 1/32-1/16" shorter in their vertical dimension. I may go review the builders DVD and see if George Orndorff had the same issue.
