Brief Description:  Continued riveting mid-cabin and tailcone

Today Connie and I continued riveting the fuselage mid-cabin area and prepared the tailcone by inserting and taping the appropriate rivet sizes. The next shop session will be short since Connie is unavailable for riveting and I have a dinner flight scheduled for the evening. However, I should be able to get all the keeper rivets squeezed that attach the aft side skins to the upper longerons.

When the "canoe" is finished the shop manual calls for flipping the structure and completing a little work inside and at the aft end of the fuselage. Then the canoe must be flipped again to install the landing gear legs. I am wondering if it might be possible to install the gear legs first, and then flip the fuselage to do all the internal work? Doing the gear first will save flipping the fuselage twice which always requires scheduling extra manpower in the shop.
