Brief Description:  Continue fuselage assembly

The first task this morning was to cleco the starboard mid fuselage skin in place and get the upper longerons positioned and clecoed. The upper longerons were then riveted to the left and right upper engine mount weldments and the landing gear box assemblies.

The stiffeners and throttle quadrant components were prepared and back riveted to the forward side skins. After applying a small bead of fuel tank sealant to the firewall flange the forward skins were clecoed into place. The auxiliary longerons, landing gear box plates, spacers, and longeron gussets were all installed with the forward skins.

A few subassemblies were prepared for the next shop session (baggage rib angles mated to baggage ribs, and nutplates installed on rib angles and the mid longerons).

Finally, the F-807 bulkhead was clecoed to the airframe and prepared for riveting. The next shop session will focus on the rear section of the fuselage (aft side skins, fore and aft bottom skins, tail cone bulkheads, etc.).
