Just had a few minutes to work on the airplane today so I began to disassemble the fuselage after match drilling. The cockpit rails, upper aft skin, aft deck, upper bulkhead halves, and various brackets and spacers were removed per the shop manual.
After removing the seat back support, I match drilled the support plates. I also took this opportunity to touch up a few scratches on the seat back support weldment. There were a few nicks from the earlier drilling. The weldment is powder coated so it was painted with some touch-up paint ordered from Van's for this purpose. Good as new!
