Brief Description: MERFI Fly-In Grimes Field Urbana, Ohio
I should have worked on the RV-8 today but the Middle East Regional Fly-In was held at Grimes Field in Urbana, Ohio this weekend. The weather was a little threatening so a lot of planes and pilots didn't show up. However, the weather really wasn't too bad. I arrived at 0930 and departed at 1500 making it into Dayton International just ahead of some fairly heavy rain (enough to make the field IFR). Anyway, the rain didn't last too long at Dayton so I doubt that it was much of an issue at Grimes either. The weather on Sunday is suppose to be sunny so maybe more folks will come out.
I didn't take many pictures but did see a couple nice looking Yaks. One of them is displayed below.
