Brief Description:  Riveting tank baffle

Well, I should have stayed home today and finished my fuel tank but it was a great VFR day and the Ohio Valley RVators called a UFO for Salem, Ohio (38D). I have never been to Salem so my flying buddy Jeff and I launched at about 0915. There was a good turnout. I didn't count all the folks but one of the guys said there were 18 people at the dinner table. Jeff took a few pictures of the planes as they were departing so when I have them available they will be added to my log's miscellaneous section.

When I got home late in the day, I decided to at least complete the spanwise rivets attaching the rear baffle to the tank skin. It took a bit more time than expected to clean each rivet hole and wet set the rivets but they are done. In the next session, I plan to get the Z brackets installed and the final blind rivets in the baffle. Then, the only sealant job left will be to encapsulate the rivet heads on the baffle.
