Tucked the lower cowl under the top and trimed the lower to the firewall as well. Once they were close, I installed the hinges on the aft part of the cowlings and firewall to secure them.
Installed the inner inlet nutplates so the front can be secured. Once the front and back were secured I was able to sand the gap between the top and bottom using a peice of sheet metal wrapped in sand paper. worked well to get a nice seam.
Hinge on the aft lowers installed, just have to get the cowling side installed.
