The panel behind othe avionis panel that is common with the baggage compartment was opened up and a panel installed with screws and nut plates. There wont be anything mounted to this panel but it will give easy acess to the connections behind it. I plan on making a place where all of the connections come to one common location, possiby mounted to a bracket.
The other modification I made was to the CB panel on the Pilots right side. Below is a panel that covers the floor and other cables. I fabricated a hinged panel that will hinge from the bottom panel and screw to the swich panel. This will hold the CBs. the swithes will be on top. The hinge panel was installed with 2 peices on the botton plate and a 2 peice hinge pin for easy removal.
