I needed to make a set of barrel nuts for the male rod ends on the CS5 and CS12 ailerons push rods. (Ref Figure 1). made them using 3/8 UNF High tensile steel nuts and machined them down to a light push fit into the ends of the tube. I cleaned the nuts and the push rods ends with Metho and applied loctite 641 bearing mount to the outside of the nuts and inserted them in the push rod. (Ref Figure 2)
