Brief Description:  Finishing out the Wing Tanks

In this work session I worked on completing out all the internal component prior to finishing out the wing tanks. In this time I did a few tasks.

- I installed the fuel float valves and checked for free and full clearance of the fuel floats
- I sealed and tightened all of the fuel fittings on the inspection hatch
- I had to remove the T-715 anti rotation brackets, tighten the fuel pickup lines, and reinstall, rivet and seal the brackets to the fuel inspection panel.
- I sealed and tightened the fuel vent fitting to the tank wall
- I affixed the fuel vent line to the retainer clip at the fuel filler cap
- I checked that all of the rivet heads were covered with pro seal fuel sealant
- I test fit and checked the fit of the fuel tank rear baffle to the respective fuel tank
- I cleaned out the fuel tanks one final time, and cleaned the mating surfaces with Acetone in preparation for affixing the rear fuel tank baffle

So the time investment covered a lot of work that took some time, but also showed little progress. But once the rear baffle goes in, it doesn't come out. You are probably better off just rebuilding the tank.
