Brief Description: Match drill the F-633 to the F-704B
In this work session, I match drilled the F-633-L and -R to the F-704B. I aligned the F-633 control column bracket using a 90-degree angle, then secured it to the F-704B Center Section Aft Bulkhead. I then started the upper drill hole, then removed the control column bracket and finished the hole with the drill press. I then refitted the bracket to the Aft bulkhead and inserted an AN3 bolt and drill marked the lower hole, and finish drilled that hole with the drll press. I then marked the control column bracket for trimming. I don't know if I'll do that yet, it seems like its a lot of work for very little weight savings. I thought I completed both mounts, but then discovered I drilled the right mount to the wrong set of holes. the resultant holes were about 1/32" out of alignment. After dispairing a bit, I reordered a new F-633-R Control column mount.
