Brief Description: Prepping fuel tanks for closing
In this work session I began the final work prior to closing and sealing the fuel tanks. The three measly pictures don't do the amount of work completed justice. I final drilled the and deburred the requisite rivet holes, then sealed the parts to the inspection hatches with fuel tank sealant. After that I put a small dab of fuel tank sealant over every rivet head, and put a final layer of sealant over the edges of the fuel tank walls and interior baffles. I then set the tanks in a warm part of the basement to allow the sealant to cure. There's not much left to completing these tanks, and I can't wait to be done.
