Brief Description: Right Wing Upper Inner Wing Panel
In this work session I decided to begin work on the right wing upper skin panels.
Due to the move, work, and family time the 3 month shelf life of my Tank sealant lapsed (cost $60...) so I'm awaiting delivery of a new order of it. If it takes too long I'm going to order a feww tubes of sealant from another vendor... In the meantime, I decided to work around my tank issue and get further into wing construction. To do this I jump[ed forward to page 7-8 and started fitting the upper wing skin panel to the right wing. I used my pneumatic and manual squeezer to dimple all the uppr rib flanges, and aft spar flanges as directed. I then lightly countersunk the doubled areas on the lower spar, as directed, the squeezer didn't dimple much here anyway.
I then used my DRDT-2 dimpler to dimple the wing walk doubler, the inner wing skin, and the outer leading edge. Afterwards I couldn't help but to test fit them into place. Slowly and surely this wing is coming together...
