In this work sessions I continued working on the Fuel Tanks by concertrating on the fuel tank stiffeners. They come from the factory as two piece of aluminium which needs to be cut and shaped into 10 individual pieces for each tank. They are cut and shaped much like the flight control stiffeners, and not that hard to fabricate. I initially rough cut mine using a pair of Wiss snips and then used the scotchbrite wheel to slowly winnow all 20 stiffeners into shape. Following that I test fit them into the tanks for later match drilling using clecos.
