Brief Description: Turtledeck Skin Attachment to Tailcone
Attached the turtledeck skin to the tailcone. This was easier than I thought it would be. The left side slid in easily, and I actually clecoed the front right corner to the ceiling of the shop to keep it from pulling the left skin out while I worked. I had my wife push the skin flat at each skin hole, and all the holes lined up with the longeron holes very well.
Using Jeff Shultz' "shoehorn" trick, the right side went in easily using a piece of 0.025 scrap, and Kellie again assisted with pressure against the skin while I drilled.
I wanted to continue with the #5 former, but I had some questions about the fit so I called it a night so I could ask Sonex about it before continuing.
