Aligned and drilled horizontal splice plates to the crosstie box and lower skin & crosstie. The uppers were easy, the lowers were hard to get to and tight. For the lowers I used Eric Witherspoon's procedure of drilling them on the outside and moving them in afterward; it worked perfectly and fit great.
