Brief Description:  Elevator skin and spar prep

Spent most of these hours edging the right skins and forward spars. It takes a lot of time to peel the blue vinyl off of just the holes. I still use the soldering gun with the blunted tip and a metal 3' ruler. It'd be a lot quicker to just pull all the vinyl off but I hope it pays off leaving some of it on for protection of the surfaces. Anyway, I used the bench grinder with the 3M cut and polish wheel to do the rough edging then used the angle grinder for the lightning holes. Also used the dremel with the modified scotch brite wheel to get the tight spots then finished them all off with 320 sandpaper and red scotch brite pad. The plans have you use the step drill bit to enlarge a couple of holes in the front spar. Once the holes are drilled this becomes the left forward spar (E-902-1L). I wrapped a piece of painters tape around the bit so I didn't go past the required sizes. Then I moved on to clecoeing the bottom skins, front spars, rear spars and ribs all together.
