Brief Description:  Install of the Spar box

Today I tried to install the spar box and align the wings. For this task I had help from Kelvin W. a good mate from our local model aero club.
First I prepared the drill jigs for the spar box which was trial fitted onto the wing spars and marked accordingly.
The left wing position was worked out and position established to fit best the faring. After moving the wing forward and back a few times to get it right we were happy to drill three holes for the box. (Three holes, in case they are wrong less to fix)!
To get the right side right was not as easy as first thought. We aligned the wing to the right faring, checked geometry and drilled three holes for the spare box. Big mistake as I found soon later.
From the pictures taken I made some measurement on a printout and found the wing dihedral was not in level with the horizontal and vertical stab.
In discussing this problem with Denis B. he advised me that the right side will never match the faring on the fuse and it had to be made to match the left side by moving the wing into the right position with some wedges.
Therefore the right hand holes were closed up with floxs and next attempt planned for Monday.
