Brief Description:  Further Preparation of the Canopy Frame

After 24 hours of curing time the Epoxy has set and we removed the Canopy from the fuse. Further preparation required to bevel the Perspex so the layers of fibre glass can be epoxied onto the frame to finish it off. I used the angle grinder with a soft disc, which worked perfect except the dust and noise. After the grinder I gave all a good sand with 60 grid paper to remove the white curly Perspex, which is lose and will not provide a good bond.
Now it was time to foam all out but before I covered the fibre glass on the frame first with tape so that no foam will get onto this as this will not hold very good, also it makes it easier to clean.
