Some rework on the elevator hinges were required as the straight edge was too straight and the hinge mounted to the elevator was rubbing on the leading edge. Removing the hinge and sanding a light bevel onto the edge solved this problem and made it perfect. Also I finished the canopy hinges, the side tabs and the canopy lock. For the mounting of the hinge to the canopy frame I decided to use the old method as this was looking better than the bending method described in the manual for later canopies. This will include some more work with bending but at the end I believe it will be stronger.
