In the mean time I started with the canopy as this is easier done when fuselage is empty. First I investigated what and how is this done, because the manual jumps from one chapter to another it is very important that nothing gets forgotten. At last, a phone conversation with Dennis B. made everything clear and confirmed a few details. I made some spacer blocks up out of 6mm MDF to keep minimum rubber spacing between the canopy frame and the fuselage. Also some timber block with a 3mm spacer for the side distance from the canopy frame to the fuselage. A few measurements on the frame when on the fuselage and a good estimated first cut was a winner and the frame was a perfectly sized. The top flange needed no trimming as it was already trimmed and was less than a 1" wide, only a light sand for even out the edges.
