Because the original holes were unfortunately on the left HS 2mm off and on the right 1mm off, this resulted in an angled trailing edge of the left and right horizontal stab. That was not working with a common hinge line and required, to move the holes. First I elongated the holes till everything was lining up perfect. Then I made a drill jig so the new holes could be drilled exactly right. To prove the jig was ok I filled the holes with epoxy and drilled and installed the stab, all lined up. Now I could mill the a new bigger 14mm hole into the aluminium spar, then I made two plugs 0.05mm oversized out of machine grade Aluminium 2024 and glued it with extra strong permanent Loctite and pressed them into place. New holes were drilled with the use of the drill jig and installed into the tail, now I'm satisfied and can progress with further installation.
