To get the air intake into the right angle of airflow and matching with the profile I had to make a wedge to fill the gap between fuse and air connector. All glued into place and covered with glass gave a solid connection and a nice finish. Unfortunately this small piece took a few hours of attention to get it right as it is also very awkward for sanding.
