Unfortunately there was no flat surface on the dash board frame to mount the bracket. Therefore I did the trick with covering the bracket with Vaseline and filling the dash board surface with flocks, then pressing both together to get a perfect flat seat to screw them both together. Drilled the mounting holes for the dashboard mounts and glassed the brackets with two layers of 8oz glass as recommended in the manual.
