To do the quilting pattern I researched different methods of doing it and the best was also the most time consuming, mh why???!! I had to cut 600 diamond shape foam pieces, glued them on the back of the leather, glued a linen backing on to and had then to sew between the diamonds. This way I got a very solid and firm 3d quilting pattern. With the grey side panels the first seat front was finished. What a achievement for the first ever upholstery work?
