Brief Description: Mounted counter top shelf for fuselage skins
I got a call from Vans that the fuselage kit will be arriving on Friday. I have shelf space for the smaller fuse parts, but the skins will be pretty large and awkward to store. I decided to take a couple pieces of our old kitchen countertop, rip a 2x6 in half, and make it into a shelf for the skins. I need to get some heavier duty chains, but it turned out good. Hopefully it will be big enough.
Diane moved a sofa from our living room down to my bar area so I didn't have room for my old leather recliner. I hope to keep it in the shop for those times when I'm not motivated to work on the planen or when Diane and the kids come visit me in the "hole" as she calls it.
