I picked up the side rails and associated parts from All-Brite Anodizing in Northlake, IL today. They turned out well and the blue color looks sharp. It was kind of expensive as the minimum order was $80 and I could have done twice as many parts for the same price. The anodizing should hold up better than paint would have in these areas.
